Juke is a pelvic health physiotherapist and a somatic sexologist who has been living and working in different countries for the last 16 years. She moved to Melbourne with her family in 2020, and has spent her time studying sexological bodywork and somatic sex education which has transformed how she works with clients. In her point of view, it’s the combination of…..
scientific expertise (brain expertise like “thinking and knowing”) combined with body awareness (body expertise like “feeling sensations and emotions”), that creates openings where her clients learn to combine their body- and mind- expertise into new behaviours that give opportunities to create a healthy sex life and the possibilities to grow into a lifetime of pleasure.
Each person’s lifelong journey in experiencing their body, is unique. If you have deviated from pleasure into pain or frustration and don’t know how to get back on track, the first step in (re)connecting with yourself, is to ask for help. There is no right or wrong and judgement is not needed. It’s the continuation of a journey that started when you were born.
